I called them to find out if they had the drill attachment for the quick start feature, for the Troy Built products THAT THEY SELL. After waiting on hold for someone who could help answer my question I was connected with a woman that “had no idea what I was asking about” and was put on hold again after some time she returned and told me “they do not have one in stock but could order me one” I responded with “ok how much does it cost?” She then advised me that “someone had ordered one a year ago but it was not very expensive.” She then stopped talking like that was the end of the conversation. I don’t know what anyone else does but before I buy something or order something I want to know the price. So I asked “well if I’m going to order it from yall I should probably know the price first?” She then said well I don’t know the price but I know we can order it…. How can you know you can order it and not know the price…. This is the third or forth time I have called to see if they have a specific product before I drive all the way over there. Every time I have had similar conversations. I think this conversation is the last I will have with anyone there.
Purchased a Craftsman 6 drawer toolbox valued at $159 on Black Friday for $99. Received an email to pick up merchandise from the store. Upon going to pick up the tool box, no one could locate the toolbox, I purchased. The customer service rep said he would “upgrade” to the next toolbox they had available. It was a 5 drawer, different color, and less value than I ordered. He than said he would take the original price of $159 from another toolbox and I would have to pay the difference. Stines will NEVER have my business!
