I am a victim of the catastrophic rain event that caused widespread flooding throughout south Louisiana in August, 2016. I am just now beginning to rebuild and wanted to go with the same Sherwin Williams paint I used when I built the home in 2006. I mistakenly ordered Pure White instead of Bright White for my door and trim paint. I called the Broussard store to ask if they could adjust the Pure White to Bright White and was told they could not make the correction. Also, when I placed the order over the phone, I didn't specify which line of paint I wanted, so the employee naturally prepared my order using your most expensive paint. I didn't balk at that, paid the invoice, and figured I'd chalk that up to a lesson learned. I asked if I could exchange the Pure White for Bright White and got a great big no. As strapped as I am for money, the last thing I need is to spend extra money on paint. It's not like I bought eggplant purple or pumpkin orange - I know the Pure White could be sold to someone else.
If a customer service rep catches me before then and wants to make this right, great. If not, I'll be sure to spread the word to all my coworkers, friends, and neighbors that SW paint is priced at a premium rate and comes with Walmart service.
My wife and I needed paint for our home. The staff here helped us make sure that we had all the materials we needed and that we were getting things on sale where possible. Quite satisfied.
The management was rude. The paint wasn't completely mixed . They tried to convince me that eggshell and satin finishes were the same. I've been painting for 20 yrs and using Sherwin Williams for the past 5 yrs, I know the difference.. They wanted me to take eggshell when I needed satin.. I will never use this branch of Sherwin Williams again.
I've learned that Sherwin Williams is indifferent to the suffering of their community, that they exploit the public by filling orders that benefit the store, and that I can find Bright White almost anywhere.
Hate it they are lack of service and experience
Suffice it to say that I'm headed to my local Benjamin Moore retailer later this week to get some trim paint...and the remaining 20 gallons of paint I'll need to do my entire house.
They handle all of my painting needs and I have never had any problems. I had car problems and they let me charge my phone while I waited on the towtruck.
Thanks a lot.
